Hello all, This is a post to reinforce our time line.
- Due Oct. 29/13 Author research assignment. Remember this is not a biography, rather you are looking at their biography to seek connections between aspects of the novel and their possible inspirations for the novel.
- Due Nov. 8/13 The Quote of the Book. This is a passage from within the book that you think exemplifies the essence of the novel. To this quote you add a short discussion of the reasons you feel it is most fitting.
- Due Nov. 25/13 Both the Reflective Letter and the Book-Talk are due on this day. Both are informal yet organized accounts of your experience reading the novel. Please refer back to the handout for further detail.
Today we spent time researching for The Author assignment. Please continue on with your thinking about this assignment and arrive with your questions/concerns in the days to come. Again, I encourage you to do this work sooner than later so there is time for seeking clarification.
