This is just to confirm the new dates for the in class Poetry in Voice competition:
Jan.29 (B block) and Jan. 28 (G block)
The school wide competition will take place in the lower learning commons Feb. 4 and Feb. 5 during the block before lunch. The successful competitors from within the classes will advance to this event. They will perform the same poem from the in class competition on Feb. 4.
They will need a second poem for Feb. 5th. Please ensure that between the two poems you have one that is shorter than 25 lines and one that is older than the 20th century. It would also be a good idea to have the poems differ in tone.
