Poetry In Voice!
Here, as promised, is the link to the Poetry In Voice site.
Please feel free to begin seeking the poem you'd like to do for your recitation. We will sign up Dec. 10/11 and the in class event will happen January 11/12 The School wide competition is on Feb. 4/5.
Here are some suggested steps to take:
- Find a poem you like on the PIV site
- Look at it for meaning/s (consider both literal and metaphorical)
- Phrasing: breath, pace, inflection, pauses, emphasis . . .
